Cairo Declaration vs Universal Declaration page from The Library

If you’ve heard our songs (which you can do via our home page), you’ll know that the lyrics are packed with more information than the health warnings for a drug advertisement on US TV. Which is why we’re taking our time and not going for a big launch yet.

When everything is ready we will have a full reference site that gives every lyric to all of our songs and then links those lyrics to detailed notes and explanations. We have been very careful with our words: words can be powerful weapons and we don’t want them to be misunderstood.

We’ve also done our homework and we want you to know that.

For now we’re opening up a tiny portion of what we call “The Library“. We have one article up at the moment which is a side by side comparision of the full text of the Cairo Declaration of Human Rights in Islam and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This is the very heart of our song Best Nation.

Maybe you haven’t read either, if so, don’t feel you have to read them all, just read a couple of paragraphs of each and compare the styles.

Soon we’ll be giving a complete explanation of how this shocking document has been accepted by the entire edifice of the UN.

You may also notice we’ve updated to our new, more subtle, logo. We hope you like it. We’ll also be talking more about our various characters in due course.

Our first public release

After working for a long time in secrecy, we released our first song via the podcast Shire Network News. This was a low key release for us to elicit a few comments and start raising awareness. We are working hard behind the scenes on all the elements we need for a much bigger launch!

We have some big plans including significant and detailed notes to back up all our songs, giving you all the knowledge you need to understand some very complex issues.

In the meantime, feel free to subscribe to the RSS feed for the blog (see the link to the right) or you can sign up for a mailing list that will carry the more significant posts from this blog. It will be low traffic for now and you will always be able to un-subscribe. We will be very careful with your privacy as we too value ours.
