We’ve noticed a new review of our album over at the Amazon MP3 store from Alyssa Lappen who has written extensively about many subjects and is a particular expert on Islam and finance. She wrote the following about Imagine Jihad (part 1)

Remarkable, December 21, 2008
By Alyssa A. Lappen (Earth) - See all my reviewsThis collection of 8 cuts, totaling roughly 45 minutes, is a remarkable musical achievement.
It combines harmonious, “Rent”-style operetta originality, in a clever popular educational form. Listeners will enjoy the tunes, while learning about the philosophy and rules of shari’a, i.e. Islamic law, and what it would mean to humankind if Jihad were ever to achieve its ultimate goal: Islamic subjugation of the world.
Everyone who appreciates music, and believes in human rights for all peoples—not just one kind or another— will most certainly find bittersweet pleasure in hearing this glorious and courageous work.
The anonymous “rockers” who made this CD (also available in CD format) hope to preserve the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and prevent its replacement by the Cairo Declaration.
What was the Cairo Declaration? Treat yourself to this download, and learn about the subjects so artistically explored here.
You will help the human race in the process. And you will not be sorry.

In addition she wrote about the song “It’s Just an Excuse”:

The excuse is a perennial status of victim-hood, that always blames others to cover (”draw a veil,” in the words of this 8-plus minute track) over Islamic ambition to dominate the world. Is that what Jihad really means? Listen up, take in the fine, original 21st century rockers’ tune, and learn something, all for only 99 cents. Otherwise, get ready to “submit.” A truly renaissance bit of popular-style music. It’s pure Enlightenment.
Thanks Alyssa!
The 57-member Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) or the great wartime leader Winston Churchill?
Behind the scenes we are hard at work putting together the backup material that will support our songs. While we’re doing this, when we put up particular items that can stand alone we will announce them here on our blog.
Today we added a short page to The Library detailing first how Winston Churchill called Islam the “religion of blood and war” and contrasting that with the claim, from the OIC, that Islam is the “religion of peace, tolerance and compassion“. We feel it’s rather hard to reconcile those two statements.
Winston Churchill wrote in his book, “The Story of the Malakand Field Force”:
Thus the Turks repel their enemies, the Arabs of the Soudan break the British squares, and the rising on the Indian frontier spreads far and wide. In each case civilisation is confronted with militant Mahommedanism. The forces of progress clash with those of reaction. The religion of blood and war is face to face with that of peace. Luckily the religion of peace is usually the better armed.
If you want to see a longer version of that quote, and something from the OIC with which to compare it, take a look at the following page in The Library: Winston Churchill versus The Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC)
As we continue building The Library our Winston Churchill page will grow listing an increasing number of quotes that are relevant to the work we’ve been doing. Of particular interest is an extended extract from “The Gathering Storm” which gives the complete context to Winston Churchill’s oft repeated quote about Mein Kampf: “Here was the new Koran of faith and war“. We feel that the statement following that “the main thesis of Mein Kampf is simple” is much more important. Read his brief précis of Mein Kampf and Judge for Y’Self.
We’ve started to get a little feedback that we can share on our album, Imagine Jihad (part 1).
We picked up a link from German political site PI-News.net. The comments (as best as I can tell via google translator) were highly positive and I know that we had a lot of visitors. I hope you all enjoy your downloads or CD’s which should be in the post to you already.
By E-mail from one of our purchasers (who agrees to be known as Ali Ibn Mohammad Bin Bob) we have:
Your music is fantastic! I must say it is great to hear concerns about the dangers of the spread of Islam put to music. I loved “Best Nation” and imagined it being done as part of a profressionally staged musical production and with your other songs being a stage show as good or better than “Rent” and other Broadway hits.Your song “It’s Just An Excuse” is pheonomenal and seems to be a perfect stylistic fit for Pink Floyd’s “The Wall”. Please keep creating and I’ll work to spread the word about your work.
Marty Dodge, resident rock and metal critic for Blog Critics had the following to say:
Unlike many such “issue” or “cause” releases the band make a clear effort to make an enjoyable album. While not quite The Wall or Operation Mindcrime this is certainly good enough to be the upper-tier of concept albums. Let’s face it tyranny, enslavement, religious extremism, and genocidal violence are not alien subjects for conceptual albums.
I am looking forward to the next part of this epic undertaking.
Don’t wory Marty, there is much more to come.
The following post at The Canadian Sentinel also caught our eye:
Hate terrorism? Hate Islamofascism? Hate supremacistic, imperialistic murderers? Want to blast the neighborhood with anti-Islamic-jihad music? Now you can!
Raise some proud Infidel-Zionist-Crusader, freedom-lovin’ racket against the jihadist racket!
Don’t submit! Don’t be silent! Pump up the volume of the defence of liberty!
Please let us know if you link to us and we’re always happy to hear comments especially if you’ve purchased our music or listened to it online.
Thank you to all who’ve visited, looked, listened and bought our music. We’re hugely encouraged with the reaction we’ve gotten from all over the world. We just wanted to make a small but important addition to the terms under which we release our work. We have given very broad license to people via a limited Creative Commons license but we wanted to make clear the following stipulation which covers the reuse of our work and which can be found on our copyright page:
Our Special Conditions
Weapon of Musical Defense must be credited as the author of the art works used.
The material must be published unedited.
We will not allow people who support violent totalitarian ideologies, Communists, neo-Nazis or others, to use our material. Those who republish our work should share the spirit we have written the material in. Even though we are critical of Islam, we will not allow or support attacks on random Muslims. Those who desire this are not allowed to use our material.
Those who republish our work should support the defense of Western civilization — and the defense of Israel as well. In our experience, those who disapprove of Israel’s right to exist are either antisemites or suffer from very poor judgment. Sensible people should support Israel’s self-defense against Jihad. If you don’t do this then we don’t trust your judgment on other issues, either.
Violation of the above conditions will not be permitted and violators have no right to republish our work.
